"The desire to create is one of the deepest yearnings of the human soul." -- Dieter F. Uchtdorf
I cannot recall a time that I wasn't drawing. My parents often shared anecdotes of drawing on walls, with food, in the dirt... One of my favorite memories was when Crayola first came out with their "washable" markers and my little sister, cousin, and I locked ourselves in the bathroom and drew tiaras and jewelry all over our 5,7, and 8 year old selves. We learned that day that "washable" was definitely loosely used and in retrospect, a dubious marketing ploy.
Our mothers scolded us through pursed lips, eyeing each other sideways, a tiny glint of remembered mischief perhaps, twinkling in their eyes.
My mission is to inspire young and old to return to that space before we were told that elephants can only be Grey, skin is made to be covered only with clothes, and the only emotion worthy of attention is happiness.
